The Hu-ha is a 13% Alc. Red wine elaborated by Bodegas Antonio Arráez winery and with the famous 90’s Valencian D.J. Chimo Bayo collaboration, in the East Spain area of Font de la Figuera (Valencia) in the D.O. Valencia appellation. The Hu-Ha is a 100% Bobal grapes red wine, elaborated with grapes grown in vineyards placed on clay and poor soils, around 700 m. over sea level and under a continental with clear Mediterranean influences. Grapes a re harvested when they reach the optimal ripening point and carried to the winery, where they’re selected and moved to stainless steel tanks, where they ferment and macerate at controlled temperature. Later, grapes are pressed and wine is moved to French and Hungarian Oak barrels, where it remains during 5 months before being finally bottled.
VIEW: The Hu-Ha has a high intensity dark red cherry colour, with violet rims, it is clean and clear.
NOSE: In the Hu-Ha stand out red and black fruit scents, blended with some spices an liquorice scents and a soft oak ageing toasted scents.
TASTE: The Hu-Ha has a wide attack, with a notorious acidity that supplies freshness and gives way to a gourmand red wine, with a round tannin, a medium volume and a long end with a retro nasal where, ripe fruit and oak toasted scents are blended and round the ensemble.
The Hu-Ha is a red wine elaborated finding the fusión between the most typical variety from Valencia, the Bobal, with the 90’s essence in Valencia with the famous “Ruta del Bakalao”, and its freedom, freshness and hutzpa feel… The Hu-Ha is a young red wine nuanced with some time in oak barrels, it’s an easy to drink and to enjoy red wine that will pair really well with all kind of meats, pasta and rice, butchery, medium cheeses, etc… It is suggested to be served from 12 to 14ºC.
